Synopsis
Mei and Satsuki move to a new home with their father in the country that is close to their mom’s hospital. One day while Satsuki is at school Mei wonders off into the woods and finds a strange forest creature known as Totoro that vanishes when she falls asleep. Mei is unable to find Totoro again until one night when the sisters are waiting for their father at the bus stop and Totoro magically appears. The girls do what little they can to help their mother out turning toward Totoro to help them.
