Synopsis
Right before his execution the Pirate King Gold Rogers says that he has hideaway his greatest treasure One Piece which is believe to be somewhere on the Grand Line. The Grand Line is a line that separates the seas and only the greatest of pirates have been able to make their way through. Inspired by his childhood hero Pirate Shanks, Monkey D. Luffy has decided to take up the challenge of finding One Piece and becoming the next Pirate King. Luffy has been enchanted by the devil’s fruit which has made him turn into a rubber man who is able to stretch any part of his body at will, but as a result of the cursed fruit Luffy can no longer swim and will drown if he falls into the sea. Despite this Luffy will set out to find a boat and crew, starting with nothing but the clothes on his back and the straw hat left to him by his hero Shanks.
