Synopsis
Hanabishi Kaoru meets a beautiful girl named Sakuraba Aoi who is lost, dressed in a kimono, and searching for her childhood friend. Kaoru learns that Aoi was meant to marry her long lost childhood friend when she came of age and, to his surprise, recognizes himself as the young boy in the photograph of Aoi's betrothed.
However, since Kaoru had left his own family behind at a young age, their engagement was called off and Aoi's family now seeks to wed her to a different man. Not wanting to forget about her past relationship with Kaoru, Aoi left her family behind in search of him. Now they must reconcile their relationship as Kaoru struggles to juggle Aoi, college, and the bills.
