Synopsis
There is an awkward and eery silence amung the female populace at Shinyo Academy. The hushed whispers seem to talk of an enigmatic supernatural entity. This entity is known as Boogiepop, a Shinigami who is rumored to be going around murdering people at the height of their beauty, before it starts fading away. However, there are very few that know the true nature of Boogiepop: a guardian who sometimes manifests as an alter ego of a high school girl named Touka Miyashita to fight off "the enemies of the world." There is now a series of disappearances that has caught Boogiepop's attention. Somewhere within the school there lurks a menacing creature that is waiting for the right moment to strike!
