is that a reference to something or was that an original play on words?

I think I referenced it off of somewhere but it must of been a long time ago as I just have the phrase in mind not the source of it. But I did add the bird eating part for fun that was made up but fitted well.

To be honest I am actually disappointed with the PS3 and it could have been better if Sony didn't try to reinvent console gaming.
Their decision to use the Cell Microprocessor (http://bit.ly/7SFy3) instead of a x86 (http://bit.ly/yfUMu) or a x64/x32 (http://bit.ly/17Np65g) processor was terrible.
It made developers have an extremely hard time with coding their games for the different hardware.
I can understand why they did it, it was supposed to increase speeds (It didn't) but it did, however, increase stability.
Another downside made the PS3 able to overheat like the XBOX 360 was the fact that all of the processor's cores were in use at any time. Although, the Xenon Processor (http://bit.ly/niuDt) was not a whole lot better.
In addition to all these problems, PS3 games are going to die out quicker than other console games simply because for compatabily with x86/x64/x32 processors, the games will have to be reprogrammed in order to be used by other consoles and the games can't be preserved on the internet for use with emulators when the games do die out.
However, Sony's idea to slim down the PS3 for noise and energy control was nice. But, the fact that any version above the first generation 20 and 60 GB NTSC PS3s didn't have full backwards compatibility with PS2 games.
With the ability to remove the 60/20 GB HDD and install a higher GB one, I got the first generation.

I always loved it and hated it yet I believe they made the right choice in getting rid of the emotion engine component from a business stand-point. The cost of hardware at the time to produce it was what was making the PS3 expansive. So, the only logical option would be to get rid of it to make it cost lower to produce and make it more viable to sell. At this point in time with the huge amount of exclusives on the PS3 now, it makes it very hard to not want it. Granted it was easier for the xbox 360 to have backwards compatibility since both the xbo 360 and xbox had similar hardware.
I'm not sure though if it would be any harder for the development on the PS3 because the console has mature enough. Same with the xbox 360.  I don't necessary believe the PS3 or xbox 360 will die out that quickly as well. I imagine at least somewhere between 2-4 years before the market matures and then, and only then would you see more people probably switch to a newer generation. At least I hope it would be lower cost of somewhere between $300-$150.00. Some people will fuzz about it but I'm sure emulation will be alot more stable in terms for the PS2 if they handle it well. If not then they could always make an all in one system for the PS2 and PS3 at a cheap price of $100 to play the old classics. On a side note, the xbox One is not backwards compatible.

Oh man. Tokyo Jungle is super addicting! I was hardcore into watching trailers when I was crashing at my friends place a while back. That's all I did when staying on his couch!

Also, I now have a PS3 again thanks to my wonderful girlfriend. If anyone wants to, my PS3 name is... C-annon
Lol I have yet to mention a game that you have not played.

I just got a PS3 and my boyfriend is psyched lol. I'll add you later when I'm not lazy if I remember XD (that statement felt like a non-liability clause in a contract or somethin)

Ahh. I'll take it as a compliment, but for some reason feel slightly embarrassed!!

Whenever you can. I don't play much on console anymore, but still would join in on much of everything.
