Regular Schedule Resumes!
9/08/2013
I'm looking at you like this.

Hi friiiends.

I should probably let you, my first ever loyal readers, in on my plans and possibly an update on my life. This is my blog, and I don't want to be a stranger to you. I'm looking for a connection between us.

So, surprise! My regular schedule is resuming! I hope you're just as excited as I am. I didn't want to restart until I figured out a name for the blog. I have been working to get everything ready for the month. This coming Monday's blog is going to be my favorite topic of the month, and it's a really important thing to me. I'm going through a phase where I'm coming of age, because I just turned 20 last month and suddenly all these notions and certain knowledge are finding their way to me. I'm in the process of figuring out what I want for myself and how I want to live my life. Anyway, I'd like for you to be very present Monday if you have something to say, especially if you disagree with the content I'm presenting. We're also going to have fun talking about the brilliance of Gatchaman Crowds, which I believe you could also participate without having seen the anime. I know I have a tendency to spoil things, but trust me, I tried my best with this one.

On the other hand, I started school last Thursday in my new program Publications! I was waiting impatiently this summer to start, and last week I was so terrified of going to school, but now I'm so ecstatic about my program, it's going to be so much fun. Unlike my old program, we're going to be hella  productive producing all sorts of publications and taking part in book arts conventions. We're also going on tons of field trips nearly every week to publishing companies and print companies. Some publishers, artists/authors, editors are coming to visit and are going to tell us all about their careers. My favorite publisher, Annie Koyama from Koyama Press, will be stopping by too, but unfortunately for me, I won't be able to attend because I'll be away that week (just my luck!). I shed a tear, not gonna lie. I also got a job on campus at the print centre as a monitor! It seems like a lot of work, but I'll manage, and I'll learn a lot about printing so it's perfect. I hope to keep this job as long as possible. My days as a summer couch potato are finally over.

So, I hope you're hungry for some great discussions with me, and that you'll fully engage and express yourself. I feed you my perspectives so that you could in turn feed me yours, so we can change and better ourselves through open mindedness. We shape shift into each other like water taking shape of anything that contains it, and complement each other as yin and yang. Do you get me?
    Achievement!
Document the discovery of a new anime.
