To Yukiteru he thought he was imaginary. Within the first episode we find out that he is actually the God of time and space. He was was the one responsible for enacting the survival game. He did the game in order to find a successor but made the game to provide him with fun. He treats everything he does as if it were a game. But will act when needed.
