Nel has flowing green hair and a Hollow mask that is shaped like a small cartoonish skull which she wears on her head like a helmet. The skull is missing several teeth and has a large crack in it. Nel also has a scar that runs down from her forehead, and a pink marking that runs horizontally across her face below her brown eyes. Nel has a fear of Shinigami, believing them to be evil. However, she develops a strong attachment towards Ichigo after they meet.
