Synopsis
The top pupils in Japan attend Seirei Academy, a renowned institution. The student council's treasurer, Alisa Mikhailovna "Alya" Kujou, who is half Russian and half Japanese, is renowned for her sharp mind, beautiful appearance, and strict demeanor. In contrast to her almost faultless demeanor, Alya's uninspired classmate Masachika Kuze appears uninterested in her and slacks off during class. Alya is initially annoyed with Masachika, but she eventually grows interested in him and begins to speak to him in Russian. But she doesn't know his secret—he speaks the language with ease! Masachika has been studying Russian in the hopes of reconnecting with a childhood friend who was briefly residing in Japan. The humorous and quirky bond between the two rapidly grows stronger as they spend more time together. Both must learn to manage their new, developing feelings for one another in the interim.
