Synopsis
Tachibana decides to leave his job in order to open a small bakery despite his personal dislike for cake that stems from the incident when he was kidnapped as a child. Along the way he is reunited with Yusuke Ono (a renowned pastry chef who has been unable to keep a job due to his inability to control his personal attractions towards other men) and offers him a job. Ono accepts Tachibana’s offer when he learns that he once rejected his advances back in high school. The two together start the Antique Bakery with Eiji, Ono’s new apprentice in training, and Chikage, Tachibana’s childhood friend. The four of them, drawn together by their pasts, are now working together to create a bakery like no other.
