Synopsis
As a new semester begins Chihaya's hopes are met when a brand new group of first years joins the karuta club. With new found enthusiasm she is insistent on spreading her love of karuta to all of the new members. However, not only do the new members not share her passion but Chihaya is faced with the realization that her and each of her friends have different priorities in the club as they focus on their own individual dreams of becoming professional karuta players, readers, and strategist. Despite this Chihaya holds up to her dream of not only becoming Queen but throwing all rational out of the window as she announces her dream of winning every team category in the championship with all of the new members. However, within the first years lurks a potential rival for Chihaya's childhood friend Taichi's affections.
