Synopsis
Touka Mimori, a recluse, has the ability to cause status diseases, such poisoning or paralysis, on his adversaries after he and his classmates are called to another realm. Touka is given the moniker of E-rank hero since, regrettably for him, such abilities are deemed worthless because of their poor success rate. When the goddess who called the class, Vicius, announces that the lowest-ranked hero would be rid of so that they do not impede others with superior aptitude, things take a further turn for the worst. After being cornered by a creature that resembles a minotaur and banished to a particularly deadly place, Touka encounters death head-on. He employs his ostensibly useless talent in a last-ditch effort to live, only to discover that it nearly always works. Equipped with the power to render the monsters in his path utterly defenseless, Touka decides to find the goddess who cast him aside and avenge her.
