Synopsis
One may tell if someone is magically gifted in this world by the particular mark on their face. To preserve society's magical integrity, those unable to use magic are immediately put to death. Mash Burnedead, who can be seen holding a cream puff with one arm while pumping iron with the other, is an abnormality that dwells deep within a forest. This reclusive youngster leads a secluded life with his father, distant from civilization, and possesses superhuman strength—but no magical talents. Mash's tranquility is soon interrupted when the authorities learn that he has no magical abilities. They threaten him with eternal persecution unless he wins the title of "Divine Visionary," which would make everyone accept him. He enrolls in the exclusive Easton Magic Academy, which only the most accomplished and talented pupils are permitted to attend, in order to defend his family. Mash must now exceed the other pupils by depending entirely on his muscles in order to overcome his limitations.
