Synopsis
Rudeus Greyrat is pleased as his romance with Eris Boreas Greyrat reaches new heights. Sadly, his happiness is short-lived when Eris abruptly leaves him to go on her own adventure. He then leaves for the Northern Territories, broken-hearted and dejected, thinking Eris has forgotten all about him. Rudeus, whose only objective is to find his mother across the huge continent, becomes robotic in his thinking and questions whether it is worth it to endure the hardships of everyday life in order to find his lost love. But the perils of the North quickly demonstrate that one cannot exist in a state of mental dullness. Rudeus meets the freshly introduced group Counter Arrow while out on a mission, and it is via their encounter that he finally breaks free from his depressing state of mind. Rudeus continues toward his initial objective of living his second lease on life to the fullest, rediscovering the joy of everyday adventure with his newfound allies.
