Synopsis
Natsume Takashi has a secret that he has kept to himself since he was a child. Natsume has been cursed with the ability to see spirits. After years of keeping his abilities a secret he discovers his deceased grandmother Reiko’s “Book of Friends.” Reiko like Natsume had the ability to see spirits and was feared by all youkai. Reiko managed to steal the names of youkai and place them into her Book of Friends. Now Natsume is being chased by the nameless youkai thinking that Natsume is actually his grandmother Reiko. Natsume is befriended by Madara who offers to help protect Natsume in return for having the Book of Friends when he dies. However Natsume wants to return the names to the youkai which have come to him.
