Synopsis
Separated from the Oniwabanshū, Misao Makimachi has been actively searching for the other members of her clan along with their leader Aoshi who Misao has become infatuated with. As Misao continues her search the other members of the Oniwabanshū have become involved in the conflict with Shishio Makoto who has succeeded Kenshin as the Shadow Hitokiri for the Ishinshishi and plans to destroy the Meiji Government and conquer Japan starting with Kyoto. Unknowing of Shishio's plans Misao has stumbled across Kenshin who may be her only hope of reuniting with the others. However, Misao soon finds her efforts have involved her in an all out battle as Kenshin is forced to face off against Shishio and his men.
