Synopsis
Equipped with divine magic, witches guided humanity towards advancement, inspiring both respect and apprehension among people. But things have moved on since then. Thanks to scientific advancements, humans and witches are now on an equal footing. The powerful Redia Empire has decreed the eradication of all witches, possibly bringing an end to the age of magic, in an effort to control the globe and craft their own fates. Adonis, the apprentice of the renowned witch Chloe, and she flee from the decree. The Empire follows closely behind them, kidnaps the pair, and promptly puts Chloe to death. Adonis swears to exact revenge on Chloe by destroying humanity with the very magic they seek to eradicate, furious at the vicious killing of his master and the callousness of people.
