Synopsis
Makoto Misumi is tasked with traveling to another world in order to see the goddess and fulfill the terms of a mystery contract that his parents made years ago. Makoto's heroic title is revoked by the deity because he is considered "hideous" and is not allowed to even be seen. The goddess forces Makoto off to the furthest reaches of the wasteland, far from human civilization, and grants him the ability to understand all languages except the human language as compensation. Makoto's innate physical and magical talents emerge due to the difference between Earth and this new world, making him tremendously powerful. He encounters a variety of demihumans and legendary creatures, who are all enthralled by his traits and assist Makoto in creating a new village where everyone can live in harmony. But despite his accomplishments, Makoto still longs to interact with others. He and his friends must satisfy his need in a world where the goddess herself has forbidden him from speaking.
