Terms of Use
OtakuElite Online, Anime Database, and all other subsidiaries/products/affiliates of OtakuElite Online ("OtakuElite" "the Service" "we" "our," or "us") have established the following terms for you, or the organization, using the site ("the user" "you"). If you visit use any of OtakuElite's services you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully.

Privacy Policy
Please review OtakuElite's Privacy Policy for information regarding our practices.

Use of Service
As set forth in this Agreement OtakuElite grants you permission to use the Service provided that: (i) you do not copy, distribute, or disclose any part of the Service in any medium without consent; (ii) you do not access the site with malicious intent; (iii) you do not alter any content within the site outside of the intended purpose; (iv) you do not perform any actions that could result in suspension, termination, or banning; (v) you do not use OtakuElite in any activity to generate income without OtakuElite's consent.

You the user may have your account/internet protocol address suspended, terminated, or banned without notice, not limited to: (i) contributing inappropriate content which may include: (a) adult content; (b) unauthorized advertising ("spam"); (c) contributions with intent to disturb the service; (d) hateful, malicious, libelous, slanderous, or other inappropriate content with intent of harming another user; (e) obsessive use of foul language; (ii) accessing another user's account without consent; (iii) copying information directly from the site without consent; (iv) failure to conform to requests from, listed in order of rank: the owner, site personnel, administrators, moderators, or affiliates ("the Staff") without permission from a higher rank; (v) accessing site content outside of your restricted access; (vi) accessing or altering code provided by OtakuElite in any manor, including but not limited to: (a) web developer browser tools; (b) ad blockers; (c) proxy services; (d) screen scrapping software;

Use of Products
OtakuElite's products ("the Products") include, but are not limited to: (i) Android's Anime Database (com.otakuelite.database); (ii) FaceBook's Anime Database; (iii) OtakuElite's Mobile Site. By using any of OtakuElite's Products you accept the same Terms and Conditions outlined in the Terms of Service. Distribution of these products without consent is not warranted by OtakuElite.

User Contributions
Contributions made by the User are the User's own personal property. However, OtakuElite holds full rights to modify or remove contributions, including restricting access. OtakuElite holds full rights to use user contributions royalty-free nonexclusively. The User's Contributions may not be used outside of the site without OtakuElite's consent. The User may share their contributions only if they are not posted publically or OtakuElite is referenced visibly along with the contribution. Contributions shown outside of OtakuElite cannot portray the Services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter. The User accepts full responsibilities for any contribution made to the site along with any legal hardships relating to illegal activities performed through the Service. Users under the age 13 may not contribute information to the site.

Affiliations
OtakuElite's has affiliations ("the Affiliations"), including but not limited to: (i) Crunchyroll; (ii) HellFireIRC. By using any service provided by or to the Affiliation you accept the Terms of Service, Policy Agreement, DMCA, and all other articles related to use of the service. OtakuElite is not liable for the actions of any of the Affiliations.

User Responsibilities
If you the user do not understand or have questions about the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or other policies it is your responsibility to contact OtakuElite at tos@otakuelite.com so that we may answer your questions. By not contacting OtakuElite it means you fully understand the all policies as written. You are required to keep up to date to any changes to the terms of service and contact us if you have any concerns. Failure to do so means you accept the new terms of service.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Third Parities
Third parities such as advertising services and our affiliations may collect additional information not listed in the privacy policy. However you may view each of the third parties individual privacy policies for additional information.

OtakuElite may employ third parties to perform specific tasks on the site and may have access to user personal information to complete these tasks. OtakuElite will not provide any information outside of what is required to perform the required tasks. This may include providing credit card and other billing information. OtakuElite will take all reasonable actions possible to protect your personal information during these transactions. Third parties will be required to adhere to our privacy policies.

Children
OtakuElite does not acknowledge any identifiable information provided by any child under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that the child has submitted personal information to the site OtakuElite will make every reasonable effort to remove all identifiable information. If OtakuElite becomes aware that a user is under the age of 13 OtakuElite will take similar actions to remove all identifiable information.

How We Use Your Personal Information
OtakuElite uses all personal information to improve the user experience. OtakuElite will never provide identifiable information to anyone outside of OtakuElite and its subsidiaries unless required otherwise required by law enforcement or other government entity.

Your user information by me used for the following: (i) Marketing Analysis; (ii) User Suggestions; (iii) Site Reports; (iv) Statistics Based On Demographic And Locality.

OtakuElite in the future may provide marketing data to third parties. All information provided will have no identifiable information, but may include your date of birth, gender, locality, and other key demographic indicators. Your name, username, email address, address, phone number, third party account information, password, or any other information that can be used to directly identify you will never be provided.

Cookies And Passwords
OtakuElite's passwords are hashed and cannot be retrieved from our database. This means that we can never recover your password nor will we ever ask you for your password. Users who choose to use the "Remember Me" feature will be have their user id and a special login key stored within a cookies file which is saved on your computer. Other users on your computer may be able to access your account without a password using information stored in cookies. We may also store other information such as themes and other user preferences as a cookie on your computer. You may choose to disallow cookies on OtakuElite without any concerns to loss of site functionality.

Law Enforcement And Compliance
OtakuElite holds the right to provide the government with requested information as seen fit. OtakuElite will fully cooperate with all government officials to ensure the safety and rights of our users and the general public.

Hardware And Information Storage
OtakuElite may store personal information on third party data management solutions. These third parties will be required to protect your personal information.

Change Of Ownership
In the event OtakuElite is sold, merged, or declares bankruptcy OtakuElite may sell/transfer personal information to a new owner.

DMCA Policy

Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, in part, provides a safe harbor for an internet service provider against illegal user submitted content. OtakuElite takes copyright infringement seriously and will always attempt to remove such content from its pages whenever reasonably possible.

Title II of the DMCA
In accordance to Title II of the DMCA, OtakuElite holds no initial liability for any user submitted content. OtakuElite is responsible, as explained under the DMCA, to remove such content upon request of the original, and legal, owner of the content in question. The following section outlines the steps required to have such content removed from the site.

Removal of Content
OtakuElite will ONLY remove content if requested by the LEGAL OWNER. OtakuElite requires the following information before a claim to remove content is considered:

Written proof of ownership of the content in question.
A direct link to the content in question.
A written description of why the questioned content should be removed.
Complete contact information to a legal representative.
(Encouraged) Replacement content approved by legal owner.

All of the information above must be submitted to the email listed at the bottom of the page. OtakuElite will make every reasonable effort to remove illegal content from its pages within due time. This process may take several weeks, or months, depending on the request(s).
