Games that might come out this year are the following:

 

Edge of Twilight [PS3, Xbox360?]: Originally the steam punk fantasy game was set to be released in 2009 but was faced with uncertainly. In fact, many people have suspected that the game in development has been scraped entirely. However, that doesn't seem to be the case since the developers have stated that the game will be released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in the summer 2013. It's already well past summer now yet they did create two games for the apple store called Edge of Twilight: Horizen and Edge of Twilight: Athyr above. Still it is a good indication that the game might be released in the near future, at least one can hope so.

Divinity Original Sin [PC]: Funding has been awarded to Larian studios and pretty much almost finish with development. They are for the most part fixing bugs along with adding in new content. Not much else is known about the story except that the interactions of the player will play a key role in the game. Larian Studios have announced the goal for release is in November 2013. At this time the development of the game feels very likely to release on schedule.

The last guardian [PS3]: A great deal of many fans were disappointed about the last guardian not releasing back in 2010. Fumito Ueda, developer, back in February stated that the development was still ongoing for the game and the wait was due to Sony intervention rather than the studios fault. With no further announcements, the game might actually be releasing on the PS4. A similar game Final Fantasy XV was in the same situation until something changed.

Starbound [PC]: The game is available now to be pre-order and will be releasing sometime this year. Also, there are many blog posts made by the developers to indicate that they are still working on the game. Starbound should be exciting at least if you are a fan of terraria but want it in space.
