The plot in this Anime is not very special at all. It takes away from a lot of other Anime's ideas like a school to train warriors to fight evil, kids go out and save the world, and something needs to be collected. Anyways I noticed this Anime was following one story before it shifted to another. At first the story was like this a weapon and minster pair must get 99 kishen eggs and one which's soul in order to turn that said weapon into a death weapon. Then later the story will shift into the situation where our characters are meant to save the world. This wasn't bad though as the Anime still stayed cool. All in all this Anime's plot does keep moving forward. But this is not to say that there aren't fillers.

The Art seen in this Anime is sweet. Some of the elements experienced were 3-D illusions, vivid coloring, and angles. Due to the angling of a lot of things in this world everything looked weird but was non the less refreshing and worked well with this kind of Anime. The color palette seen is diverse and different in each setting making each one unique and beautiful but fitting well in that world. One aspect I liked about is how no one setting is made better then the others by comparison which also helps tie together this weird world.

The character design is another aspect given great care in this Anime. The basic anatomy seen in the characters are all different. By this I mean everyone has there own body type and were not based off of a single model. That is awsome since that type of care hasn't been seen much in newer Anime. The clothing also helps to build into the character's designs. Each character has there own get up representing each one's personality. The articles of clothing also include accessories which make it seem like a personal choice by the character not the artist. I feel the character designs seen here are similar to that of Trigun in which characters look more angular then smooth.

The animation was an intense point in this Anime. From what I can tell it was done well in this Anime very well. The good animation isn't limited to the fights but branches into just normal causal scenes. Since this is a Action Anime fight scenes are plentiful here so animation was a must. Every fight scene  brought about had smooth movements of the weapons and was coupled with neat effects like a glowing weapons for example. Not much more to really say except that every fight scene never fails to entertain.

Since there are 50+ episodes it is expected for character development to occur. We get to see three groups consisting of 2 characters develop. As the Anime intensifies so does our characters struggles. This causes development as the characters are forced to learn to work together and even learn more about themselves. That's one of the great things about this Anime we get to see our cast of characters grow into people due to interactions. Being an action Anime you'll expect a lot of development in battles well nothing special there that's what you get. Also we can not forget the side characters and villains as they also see a lot of development in the Anime. Note I use side character loosely here as every character gets well developed and is of some importance. Well expect for Excalibur. That's another story.

We understand each character pretty well from the introduction episodes. Each character has their own personality and way of interacting with the rest of the cast. Since every character has a special interaction with another character I feel they are more realistic. So while one lone character may not be special that web of interactions is very special. Not to say that each character personality is bland as that would be a lie. Each character also has some sort of back story which we get to learn about which is great.

Still great as it was there were problems...

Needed to stay true to the Manga
The ending didn't make the Anime

So if you like lots of action, demons, original art, and a decent plot well here you go. I do say watch this Anime but since it's 50+ episodes you'll have to make some time for it.

@zubiaks, according to MTV it was premiered on their Portugal station. Odd... Maybe there is hope yet for MTV? Who knows maybe they'll actually air music related content again.

Why watch this when you can watch all 600+ episodes of One Piece! Seriously, 51 episodes is the perfect number. It may seem like a lot, but 4 season series tend to be some of the best.

It depends it you have anything else to. Sailor Moon has 200 episodes, and it took me a few months to complete, considering I was attending school at the time. Still, it wouldn't have taken me two weeks.

Yeah I had this one on my plan to watch, but once I found out it was 50+ eps, I said forget it. I'm totally traumatized by Naruto. Although the manga caught my eye a while ago, so maybe I'll read it sometime.
