Synopsis
The meister Maka Albam and Soul Eater are students at Death Weapon Meister Academy along with the meister Black Star and weapon Tsubaki. At the academy meisters and weapons are partnered up and trained to collect evil souls. It is every weapon’s goal to collect 99 human souls and 1 witch soul in order to become a Death Scythe. Meister’s that break the rules by collecting good human souls to obtain power end up turning into kishin and are absorbed by evil and lose their purpose of protecting the world from evil. The academy was created to prevent this one occurrence and to train future generations to defeat the kishin.
