I've always been the type to be choosy with games. Normally I sink around 30+ hours into any game I buy. With that said I was thinking of trying out the indie game Prison Architect which is still in alpha, and the game is running from $30-double the price
of Don't Starve. The price isn't even a major concern for me but I felt I had to pass it up since it felt like the devs were taking advantage of their fans. I may end up still getting it but the price just doesn't seem right. Ever run into a game or other
item you just had to pass on because you felt it was overpriced? Even if you could easily afford it.
I think Markus Persson (creator of Minecraft) said it best:
@AndresLeay Just pirate it. If you still like it when you can afford it in the future, buy it then. Also don't forget to feel bad. ;)
PS: I'll be honest. I got a pirated version of Minecraft before I bought it.
