Here are a few (a lot): Say I Love You, Claanad (and After Story), My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute, My Sister Is Among Them, Waiting In The Summer, Myself;Yourself, Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate, Another, and The Severing Crime Edge. 99% of these are not pure romances or more of a different genre, but that is how I like my romance anime.

Loved REC, Chobits, Love Hina, and Mysterious Girlfriend X! I'd also recommend Ano Hana, Black Lagoon, Code Geass, Chrono Crusade, or Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler). As for Shin Sekai Yori and Aku no Hana, I was turned off by the lack of an appropriate climax after such a long build-up. Honestly Shin Sekai Yori is the better of the two but I still feel it's lacking. I'm on ep 14 and it's like I'm forcing myself to watch. I just don't like that feeling.

Depends on your taste. Some of my favorite romance series are REC, His and Her Circumstances, Mysterious Girlfriend X, Chobits, My Little Monster, and Love Hina. @complex, I'm learning more and more that a lot of the series we both like irritate NeNe. Like Shin Sekai Yori and Flowers of Evil. lol

I just finished Shin Sekai Yori the other day. I think it's a must watch if you haven't watched it yet. It's not often that such great anime come around. I think this one's a masterpiece.
